With the advent of technology, the mobile phone industry exploded.  One of the best mobile phones was a little invention by Steve Jobs called the iPhone.  An irreplaceable tool in everyone’s life.  With the invention of the iPhone came the iphone app – and now we’re looking every week for the worlds best iphone apps for every day use.

Apps or applications that run on an iPhone can be used to do an enormous amount of things.  From helping you keep track of your busy schedule such as calendars, tasks, to recipes, flight trackers, even a compass or magnifying glass.

You can find some of the best iPhone apps almost anywhere on the Internet.  There are plenty of websites that offer free apps for the iPhone while there are many others you can purchase.  Some of the apps are free (even some of the best iphone apps) but most of the best iphone apps do cost a few dollars – but they are worth their weight in gold.  The best iPhone apps are the ones that are written well and are supported by the author.

Of course, there are some iPhone apps that are cool and don’t do anything at all except amuse you while you stand in line at the bank – while some apps for iPhones you can’t live without.  There are calendars, task managers, weather, news, videos, and many other applications for the iPhone that will help you get through your day.

All the best iPhone apps are easy to download and install on your iPhone.  One word of caution, since there are so many applications for the iPhone you should probably limit yourself to those that have a 4 to 5 star ratings.  These apps ‘should be’ pretty good because they’ve been rated by real humans and have had some real world use.   Of course, the really best iPhone apps will go through the Internet like wildfire.  Every site will be talking about them.

Another way to tell if they are the best iPhone apps is to read the user comments.  You should be able to tell how much trouble you’ll have installing or running the app, or if they crash after installation. The ranking system is very helpful when choosing the best iPhone apps.

1. The best iPhone game is Angry Birds – a logic game with 288 levels that you can’t get through fast.  A great game….err…tool for the line at the bank.

2. CNN Mobile – this is a free app for the iPhone so you can get all the daily news you need.

3. For the fitness buff, Nike Training Club – has over 60 workouts and is free to download.

4. The Epicurious Recipes & Shopping List – is one of the best iPhone apps for keeping track of your daily eating habits.  It has a shopping list and recipes you can make for the fast dinner or the slow dinner.  Plus, you can share the recipes with your friends and family members through the iPhone application.

5. HeyTell – is one of the best iPhone apps to keep and send quick voice messages.  After you make a recording such as “Hey, pick up some milk before you come home”; once you’re finished, just flick the button and it’s instantly sent to the user of your choice.  It’s a free application for the iPhone and, of course, there other person has to have it installed as well to use it but it’s a great tool for sending quick messages.  There is a small fee for the extra features.

6. iTouch 4 – is a great  iPhone 4 application that uses the light/flashlight on the back of the iPhone 4.  This is a much needed application for the iPhone 4 unless you want to turn on your camera all the time just to use the flashlight.  This is rated number 2 for the best iPhone apps needed to make your life easier.

7. Angry Birds Rio — is rated the number one game for the iPhone.  It’s a knock-off from the original but it’s still worth your time to download and install.  It free, of course, and will give you hours of fun while you waste your time in lines at the grocery store or waiting for someone at a meeting.  It’s also one of the best iPhone apps for relieving stress.

Steve Jobs did all of us a great service when he invented the iPhone.  It’s sad he won’t be around for the next version of the iPone or see where the world will take the best iPhone apps but he gave us one of the best tools for communication that has ever been available to anyone.  The iPhone will help keep your life simple and free of stress as more apps for the iPhone come out.
